Holt Fire District
Annual Fees & Assessments
The Holt Fire District has the authority to levy and impose an annual assessment or service charge against all improved property within the District, per Okaloosa County Ordinance No. 84-38, amended by Ordinance No. 94-20.
Holt Fire District's Charter.
Land Assessment Rates:
Residential: $70.47
Vacant: $46.60 per vacant parcel and 10 cents per vacant acre
Business: $105.88, plus additional $70.47 for each residence on the site
Recreational: Any land improved to accommodate campers (tent facilities), recreational vehicles and campers pulled by vehicles
-- $10.77 per hookup, with a maximum of $215.40
Special:
-- Airport: $64.62, plus additional $70.47 for a residence
-- Racetrack: $188.48
Industrial: A minimum of $107.70 and a maximum of $1,077 based on square footage of under-roof floor space

Photovoltaic Power Station (Solar Farm)
$100 for each 10 acres of gross parcel size or fraction thereof with a minimum of $100 per parcel
Impact fees:
Residential: 30 cents per square foot
Commercial: 50 cents per square foot

Holt Fire District's fiscal year is from October 1, 2024, to September 30.
