Annual Fees & Assessments
The Holt Fire District has the authority to levy and impose an annual assessment or service charge against all improved property within the District, per Okaloosa County Ordinance No. 84-38, amended by Ordinance No. 94-20.
Holt Fire District's Charter.
Assessments:
- Residential: $65.43
- Commercial: $98.31
- Vacant: $43.27 per vacant parcel and 10 cents per vacant acre
Impact fees:
Residential: 30 cents per square foot
Commercial: 50 cents per square foot
effective July 1, 2023

Holt Fire District's fiscal year is from October 1, 2023, to September 30.
